The Monopoly Lifesized Luxury Board served as the inspiration for the Mayfair Bar’s sophisticated and understated take on the board game’s aesthetic. The Mayfair Bar can accommodate a maximum of 24 guests, making it the ideal location for intimate parties and team-building activities. Minimum spend for two hours starts at just £20 per person, assuming there are 24 guests.
WHAT IS MONOPOLY LIFESIZED?
The most popular board game in the world has been reimagined as a three-dimensional, interactive experience in the form of Monopoly Lifesized. Each of the games lasts for eighty minutes and is played on a board that is fifteen metres by fifteen metres. The board includes eight properties: two utility companies, two train stations, a jail, free parking, go, and just visiting. Between eight and twenty-four players can compete against one another on each board, with the players being divided into four teams. Each group will have their very own personal Monopoly Token to guide them through the game, keeping score and providing advice when necessary.
These tokens might be in the form of a Scottie dog, a boot, a racing car, etc. Each property square will have a full-sized room that is location-specific and hidden underneath it. Players will visit these rooms to compete in a competition to ‘acquire’ the property in question. The challenges will consist of a variety of physical and mental puzzles and games that will test the participants’ talents and ability to think laterally. They will also have a theme that is appropriate for the square and will feature either some historical connection or a modern-day connection to that area of London.
