This is a very low production: only 500 numbered cases each of 6 x 75cl have been created for the global markets, and a few of them have been made available in the UK.

This is the 2013 Vintage Port Wine, Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira, located in the isolated, hot, and dry region of Douro Superior with a splendid north-side bank. The wines of Senhora da Ribeira are among the best in the Douro, and they form part of the blend for Dow’s Vintage Ports together with wines from Bomfim.

The quinta has a high percentage of old vines; 45% of them are over 25 years old and this factor is of utmost significance. These old vines are extremely low yielding, yielding on average less than 1Kg per vine, and provide small berries and small berries that yield intense and concentrated musts which are perfect for the creation of the traditional Vintage Port.

In honour of Sandeman’s 225th anniversary, here is a very special limited edition case of 2000 Vintage Sandeman Port. Only 225 cases have been made, and each case contains 6 labels that describe the story of Sandemans.
