World Photography Week
During World Photography Week, you may witness the splendour of Boston from a height of 750 feet. In order to take the best possible photographs of the city, photographers who have purchased this special event ticket are encouraged to bring a professional camera and a tripod with them.
In the event that there is inclement weather or low visibility circumstances on the day of your visit, you are permitted to reschedule your ticket for a later day between August 12 and August 26. Please take note of this particular weather advisory. It is not possible to refund tickets.
RULES FOR CONTEST
CONTEST INFORMATION
If you send View Boston your best photograph from the World Photography Week event, you will have the opportunity to have your photograph included on limited edition print products that are offered in the retail shop of View Boston.
METHOD OF ENTRY
Round one: Only one photo from the event may be submitted using the official entry form by each participant. The email used to purchase the World Photography Week ticket must be utilised. The contest will not consider entries that are not submitted through this means. No entry will be considered if the entry uses an alternate email address. The date stamp on the photos you submit for the contest must be between August 12, 2024, and August 26, 2024. By August 30, 2024, all photos must be submitted. After this date, your entry will not be considered. On View Boston’s official Instagram account, @view_boston, five finalists will be chosen to move on to the final voting round.
Final Round: On September 6, 2024, a carousel post including the five finalist photographs will be made, each with a unique number. After that, the post comments will include the corresponding photo numbers. At 5 PM on September 13, 2024, the View Boston retail shop will produce limited edition goods, such as postcards, posters, and framed images, featuring the photo of the commenter with the most likes, according to the given photo number.
PRIZE DETAILS
Winner agrees to let View Boston use their shot on limited edition items, such as posters, postcards, and framed prints. Postcards, posters, and framed images are all eligible for the winner’s photo credit. While supplies last, the winner will earn 10% commission on all products sold in the retail shop featuring the winning photo. View Boston reserves the right to restock the retail shop’s inventory at any time, and the winner will earn commissions until all products are sold out. Monthly commission payments will be made at a rate of 10%. Monthly commission payments require the winner to submit a voided cheque, signed W-9 form and instructions for ACH payment.
