Snowboarding has been Jake Burton’s lifelong passion since he founded Burton Snowboards in 1977 out of a barn in Vermont. We owe a debt of gratitude to him, who was our founding father and the inspiration behind snowboarding.

Women’s Burton Feelgood Camber Snowboard

The Burton Girls Blog provides a platform for females to connect while also creating a sense of community. This online community was created by girls for girls, and it is dedicated to sharing the best of snowboarding and your lifestyle with the rest of the world. Riding, fitness, fashion and beauty, music, and after-hours are some of the topics covered. Members of Burton’s executive team, including president Donna Burton Carpenter and riders Kelly Clark and Kimmy Fasani, are regular contributors to the company blog.
Sporting Life’s Déjá Vu Snowboard features a graphic collage created from photos of girls’ travels from last year, which can be purchased from the company’s website. The design for this snowboard was sourced from burtongirls.com. The photos were layered over one another to create a vibrantly diverse dramatic effect, thanks to the over 500 submissions received. In order to demonstrate the culture and lifestyle associated with women’s snowboarding, the board graphic was created.
Burton girls are mountain-inspired and on a never-ending quest for new and exciting experiences. They are courageous, hungry for action and exploration, and on the hunt for fearlessness. Despite the fact that Burton girls live for the winter, there is much more to their way of life than just snow.
