Fotografiska New York is a photography museum and the museum has been located in Gramercy Park, Manhattan since December, 2019. Established in the Romanesque Revival Church Missions House, the museum occupies a spacious 45,000 sq ft area. They have creatively and effectively done this in this six storey building to make it an interesting place for photographers.

Since its establishment, Fotografiska New York has hosted a number of galleries and some of the most interesting exhibitions. Apart from galleries, they also had a restaurant known as Veronika that was managed by the famous Stephen Starr. Unfortunately, Veronika was opened to a great reception, but its operations were short-lived because of the coronavirus outbreak. Efforts were made to bring it back but the restaurant ceased operations on September 1, 2021. Nevertheless, there is now a new restaurant with the same name and it provides a brand new experience in dining.

It was announced that Fotografiska will be moving to a new, yet unknown location starting from September 29, 2024. This will also affect Chapel Bar that is planned to be shut down in June 2024. Some of them have said that they are excited about this new chapter and are looking forward to carry on the celebration of photography in their new place.

Over the years, Fotografiska New York has become a photography destination in Gramercy Park with art, culture, and food experiences. As they start this new venture they continue to strive to deliver the best to their visitors.
