GUCCI LINK TO LOVE 18CT YELLOW GOLD CHAIN BRACELET

It is a piece of jewellery designed by Aldo Cipullo for Cartier SA in 1969. The Love Bracelet (styled LVE, with the horizontal line inside the letter “O” alluding to the bracelet’s locking mechanism) is a bracelet that was created in 1969. Gold plating was used on the early versions of the Love Bracelet, but solid gold or platinum is now used in the production of more recent designs. The prices of the bracelets vary depending on the materials used, with some reaching as high as $56,000 for some pieces. As of 2019, the Love Bracelet is still in production, and Cartier has expanded the line to include products based on the design of the original bracelet, such as cufflinks, rings, earrings, necklaces, and watches, all of which are made in the same factory as the bracelet. When the line debuted in 2006, it was hailed as “the most successful collection in the company’s history.”

The design of the bracelet, which some have compared to mediaeval chastity belts, has prompted some to express disapproval of it.

A lawsuit against multiple jewellery stores in Manhattan and Puerto Rico was filed by Cartier in the 1990s, alleging that the stores were selling counterfeit Love Bracelets. The lawsuit was settled out of court.

In the United States, the classic version of the love bracelet starts at $6,300 USD for yellow and pink gold, with white gold available for an additional $6,750.

Cartier has made the Love bracelet available in a variety of metals, including 18k yellow gold, 18k “pink” (rose) gold, 18k white gold, and platinum. Platinum has since been phased out of production. Many of the screw-motif bracelets are available with diamonds as a substitute for or in rotation with the screw-motif. Ceramic accents and precious gemstones in a variety of colours have also been made available. In 2009, pave diamond versions of the shoes became available. There are also cuffs that do not close or lock, which are available. More recently, a “thin” version of the Love bracelet in a smaller size has become available. When using the thin version, the locking mechanism is comprised of a hinge and only a single screw.

Cartier introduced the Love charity bracelet in June 2006, a version of the bracelet that is made up of a silk cord and a golden ring that bears the word LOVE. With the purchase of each bracelet, Cartier makes a $150 donation to a variety of charities, each of which is supported by a celebrity. Evangelist Eva Mendes helped to spread the word about the charity bracelet’s 2009 version.

In addition, wearing a gold chain for good luck is recommended because the colour yellow is associated with good fortune and neutrality in many cultures. There is also an ancient belief that wearing such jewellery keeps negative energy at bay, and thus brings prosperity, happiness, and peace into one’s life.

Among the most durable and long-lasting options are 14k or 18k solid gold chains, which are made of 14k or 18k solid gold, respectively. It is durable and strong enough to wear every day because of the high karat gold content in 14k jewellery.

If you’re shopping for a gold chain, it’s critical to consider the purity of the gold you’re purchasing. Chains will be available in a variety of purity levels, including 9ct gold (37.5 percent gold) 14 carat gold (58.33 percent gold) 18 carat gold (75 percent gold) 22 ct (91.66 percent gold) 24 ct (99.99 percent ). Simply put, the greater the number of carats, the greater the amount of gold present.

We recommend that you purchase a genuine gold chain. Gold-plated jewellery is significantly less expensive than gold-plated jewellery, and it can be a reasonable alternative in some situations. Real gold (10k and above) is much more durable than sterling silver, and it is a better choice for everyday wear than silver. In addition, gold-plated chains have a low resale value because they are so expensive.
