Never Fully Dressed was founded in 2009 by Lucy Aylen as a market stand. “My grandparents were East End seamstresses and my parents were market traders, so I was bought up on the shop floor.” My granddad got me a sewing machine to make things to sell at Portobello Road and Spitalfields markets, and word-of-mouth spread and they expanded.
